1986年，楊婕妤創建了「關愛之家」，近13年來服務了超過700位移工的孩子。大家都叫她咪咪，就是媽媽的意思。咪咪永遠有很多事要做，深夜接送產婦、照顧孩子、縫製義賣品、與外界單位溝通應對，甚至徒手接生嬰兒，都是她的日常。

離鄉背井來到臺灣工作的人們，孕育了新生命，但很多時候，懷孕的移工媽媽不一定被祝福，反而被視為一種錯誤。當母親基於各種原因成為失聯移工，孩子也被帶進看不見的社會角落。在這些隱形的孩子還無法享有權益的時候，咪咪就無懼後果伸出援手，因為她相信人道救援沒有條件。有人為她的精神所感動，也有人批評她包庇非法。

咪咪在邊緣地帶打造這個共享愛與資源的聚落，對她來說這是種藝術，而藝術需要自由揮灑的空間。然而那個不分你我的烏托邦，是否只能存在咪咪的理想中？無論如何，咪咪總在路上，穩穩地前進…… In 1986, Nicole Yang founded the Harmony Home. For almost thirteen years, she has looked after more than seven hundred migrant workers‘ children. Everyone calls Nicole, “Mimi”, meaning “mother”. Mimi is always busy with so many things, including driving the expectant mothers to the hospital at night, taking care of the babies, sewing stuff for the charity sales as well as communicating with the public and other organizations. Sometimes, she even has to deliver babies with her bare hands. All these are what Mimi does every day.
